As a experienced hairstylist in Birmingham, here are a couple of things to do preparing for your wedding day or prom day:

• Book a trail as soon as possible so you know how you want your wedding hair and make-up to look like on your special day. Once you have had your trail and decided on "your look" this will help you to decide on the best suitable dress and head dress for your big day.
• If you are planning on having a strapless dress in my experience you will find having your hair down or half up or down will complement the style.
• For a halterneck or dress with straps your hair being "up" will set the style of the dress off.
